The Philadelphia Eagles and their rivals have had similar personnel changes.

When the Birds faced Washington back in Week 1, Dwayne Haskins was their starting quarterback. Since then, the Football Team has played musical chairs at the position but ultimately settled on riding with Alex Smith (as long as he’s healthy).

Before being injured, Smith had been the one giving Washington the best chance at winning games. The veteran quarterback may not have much of a ‘wow factor’, but he makes very few mistakes and is quick to get through his reads.

Unfortunately, Smith is still dealing with some injury issues, and following the recent release of Haskins, the theory is that would leave Taylor Heinicke as the starting quarterback if Smith wouldn’t be able to gut it out. That isn’t ideal for the Washington Football team.

For the Philadelphia Eagles, as most fans know, Jalen Hurts has been starting and was named the starter for Week 17 as well. Hurts has a few physical limitations as head coach Doug Pederson claimed he was dealing with lower-body soreness, so fans possibly could see a return of Carson Wentz, or dare we say it? Nate Sudfeld is a possibility as well.
