2. The Philadelphia Eagles must finally have that youth movement.

This probably comes as an obvious one to many Philly fans, but it’s something this franchise has failed to make good on far too long. Even if some veterans were to depart this offseason, there are still multiple older veterans for whom this team needs to start finding eventual replacements.

This upcoming draft will be the major factor in determining whether or not this past season will be an outlier or a common theme. The Eagles’ current draft selection is sixth overall, but it isn’t just the sixth pick that is important. The Birds need to hit the bullseye in the later rounds as well. These draft picks need to start making an impact.

Roseman has said all of the right things in his press conferences normally, but talk isn’t enough. This team must be as close to perfect as possible in this draft. They’ve scored with high draft picks before. Think Lane Johnson. It’s time that they do that again.

This is about more than finding younger players. This also means sticking with the younger players and developing them throughout the season. This team’s youth isn’t making much of a difference, and it feels like some of them are regressing.
