The Philadelphia Eagles have choices to make at this position.

Quarterback: D-

From being a former MVP candidate to one of the worst quarterbacks in the league (if not the worst), Carson Wentz took a major tumble this season. He looked like a shell of himself, and all of the problems he has had in previous seasons simultaneously arose for the fifth-year veteran.

Jalen Hurts came on strong in his first start as an NFL signal-caller and then rose the bar in his second, but after that, it seemed like Hurts plummeted back to earth and looked like every bit of the rookie quarterback that he was. He’s shown that he still needs a lot of development.

Coaches: F+

If you google synonyms for the word for ‘bad’, words like unpleasant, poor, dreadful, and awful appear. This coaching staff was all of the above. With promises of an innovative offense, better player development, and a painted picture of a contending team, all fell well short of fans’ expectations.

Many different coaches were added during the 2020 offseason, but it has so far seemed that there aren’t many of them that have worked out. Jeff Stoutland and Duce Staley may be the only bright spots from this coaching staff, and it seems almost impossible that fans won’t have to suffer through this type of season again if this coaching staff is left intact.

That’s a sad way to end this one, but if we’re being honest, it’s accurate. This entire Philadelphia Eagles organization has a ton of work to do in the offseason.
