Who else might be on the Philadelphia Eagles’ radar?

Daboll, Brady, and Bieniemy seem like the three most popular remaining candidates among the Eagles fanbase. All of them would be great options for either quarterback. The Birds have put in a request for an interview with Bieniemy and they’ve already interviewed Brady. They’ll still have to wait to interview Daboll (if they request) and Bieniemy until they are eliminated from the playoffs. Bieniemy might be the favorite of these three just because of the connection with Andy Reid.

Outside of them, the Eagles have interviewed current running backs coach and assistant head coach Duce Staley, New Englands Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, and Patriots inside linebackers coach Jerod Mayo. They have also requested to interview Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles and Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore.

Other potential candidates included former Eagles quarterback and current Chiefs quarterbacks coach Mike Kafka, but it appears that he’s someone that they’re no longer interested in. Oklahoma Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley, Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day, and Cincinnati Bearcats head coach Luke Fickell are also options.

Some coaches who the Eagles interview could also be on the table for assistant coaching jobs with the team (Kafka and Mayo) as they’d make sense for the offensive and defensive coordinator positions. As mentioned, Lurie wants to conduct a thorough search, so they might have more candidates in mind and the team might not have a head coach for a little while.
