Jaylen Waddle, Alabama. . player. 829. . .

Jaylen Waddle would be a huge addition to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Before the current Heisman winner became a media darling and Devonta Smith evolved into the big man on that school in Tuscaloosa’s campus, wideout Jaylen Waddle was the guy everyone was discussing. Now, completely healed from his early-season injury, Waddle is ready to be the star that the Philadelphia Eagles fans’ have clamored for.

How the five-foot-ten, 185-pound game-changer has gone overlooked as of late is anyone’s guess. A legit offensive weapon, Waddle is a threat to score in a bevy of ways: as a wideout, by taking a direct snap, or on special teams where we would be forced to hold our breath watching him return punts and kickoffs.

Arguably one of the best route-runners in the 2021 NFL Draft, Waddle possesses a lot of the same skillset that teammate Devonta Smith has. A potential big-play anytime he touches the ball, adding Waddle to the Philadelphia Eagles offense, would add a threat to any and all NFL defenses that have to face the Birds.

While fans have gone on record in expressing their desire for Smith or Chase, Waddle should not be overlooked, as he can be just as dangerous if not more dangerous than both Chase and Adams combined (no, that isn’t a misprint). Honestly just feed this guy the ball and get out of his way. Jaylen Waddle is a star and will continue to prove that at the next level.
