Caleb Huntley could be the ‘thunder’ the Philadelphia Eagles need.

Ball State running back Caleb Huntley could be the perfect thumper in the Philadelphia Eagles running back committee. At five-foot-ten and 230-pounds, Huntley has the thick base to run through defenses, while also possessing the sneaky speed to take it the distance.

A complete three-down back, Huntley has flown under-the-radar despite posting multiple 1,000-yard seasons. Built to set the tone on offense, Huntley can both be a complimentary back or take the reigns if Sanders is unable to go. He can also make defenders miss with his lateral quickness. Huntley is an athletic freak of nature with the ball in his hands.

In addition to his powerful running style, Huntley has the soft hands to add to the Philadelphia Eagles’ passing game. He’s also a great blocking back, Huntley never shies away from contact and looks to punish defenders.

Finding the perfect second option for Sanders will definitely help their sputtering offense. Landing Huntley in the draft could go a long way in creating a powerful duo between both him and Miles Sanders.
