. . Houston Texans. . team. 10.

This trade could change the fortunes of the Philadelphia Eagles for years.

One trade partner that has not been brought up as often for some reason is the Houston Texans and their disgruntled franchise quarterback Deshaun Watson. This is an option that is a little more realistic than most probably realize is possible.

Up until now, the only news that has been bigger than Carson Wentz and Philly breaking up, is Watson and Houston possibly parting ways. While the Philadelphia Eagles’ front office would reportedly like the ‘Matthew Stafford treatment’ in trade, landing Watson would require they give up more than they get.

In this trade scenario, the Philadelphia Eagles would land the talented Deshaun Watson, and a fourth-round pick (108). The Texans would get Carson Wentz, the sixth-pick, and a fifth-round selection in 2021. They’d also get a second-round and fourth-round selection in 2022.

It’s almost so crazy that it just might work as the Houston Texans are at a stalemate with the gunslinging Watson and need to get all that they can for him. Philly and Houston both get their franchise quarterback plus the Texans add some draft capital to add talent in the next two drafts.
