The love Carson Wentz is getting should be given to Zach Ertz.

Zach Ertz has been a good soldier, but many of you criticize him. Carson Wentz on the other hand, though a good guy off of the field, has proven to be difficult to coach, whiny, and thin-skinned.

Carson Wentz believes that he was owed some lifetime appointment as the Eagles’ quarterback even though he was failing, and what’s worse is time and time again, he never seemed to believe he was doing something wrong. He just kept saying he’d do the same things and wait for things to get better.

Well, they never got better. Wentz lost his job. He, for some reason, believes losing that job was unwarranted, and when he needed to fight to get his job back, he threw a mini-tantrum and decided that he didn’t want to. Carson Wentz simply took his ball and went home, but now that he’s gone, he’s being treated by some of this fan base like he was this conquering hero.

Meanwhile, Zach Ertz is expected to ask for his release when the new league year begins, and even though he’s constantly poured out his heart to show his love for this team, it’s Ertz that’s being treated as though he’s done something wrong. Why aren’t you guys posting highlight reels of his career?

He never won a playoff game. Seriously, you remember that right? He’s never fought for anything, and Philly coddled him. Now, he’s gone and some of you are still coddling him. The narrative is Philly may have made a mistake. Sleep easy Eagles fans because they didn’t.
