Carson Wentz finds a new city but is he still that same guy?

Oh, Carson Wentz will have some success. You can bank on that.

Carson Wentz will see some success in Indianapolis with the Colts. You can count on it, but in all honesty, his career will probably look like Carson Palmer’s. The Houston Texans will have Deshaun Watson in 2021 (maybe). The Jacksonville Jaguars will probably draft Trevor Lawrence, and the Tennessee Titans have Ryan Tannehill.

With that being said, are you sure that Carson Wentz is going to elevate Indy? Yeah, he’s back with one of the coaches he had the most success with, but does a new location mean, he’ll all of a sudden become a better teammate with better practice habits?

Sure he’ll get to the playoffs, and he’ll receive the lion’s share of the credit for that (even though the Colts were making the playoffs without him). Sure, he’ll experience success again before the Eagles will, and that will fuel the argument that Philadelphia made a mistake. Here’s where some of you took a wrong turn in your thought process though.
