Here’s someone that could get Philadelphia Eagles fans excited.

At five-foot-ten, Tre Brown is the same height as potential fellow Eagles cornerbacks Lavert Hill, Craig James, Cre’Von LeBlanc, and Grayland Arnold. His heart might be as big as those guys’ hearts as well.

Seeing a collegiate prospect appear in 44 career games almost seems unheard of now the way guys drift in and out of the transfer portal and with the way some prospects sit out of bowl games or leave early for the greener pastures of the NFL. Through it all, Brown leaves Norman after tallying 141 total tackles, two sacks, 31 pass breakups, and four interceptions.

Now, Brown didn’t play in the Cotton Bowl versus Florida, perhaps for the sake of getting ready for the NFL Draft, but he did earn a Second-team All-Big 12 nod after starting the ten games he was available for. He’s been a teammate of Spencer Rattler, Jalen Hurts, Kyler Murray, and Baker Mayfield, but he’s carved out quite the legacy in his own right.

No Sooners fan will ever forget his game-sealing interception with 1:05 remaining versus Iowa State in the 2020 Big 12 Championship, nor will they forget his heroics on so many other occasions, including another memorable game-ending pick. You might remember. That one came versus the rival Texas Longhorns on October 10th of 2020 during the Red River Showdown. That one ended a four-overtime thriller.

Expect him to come off of draft boards on Day 2 possibly or early on Day 3. Might the Birds be interested? He’s definitely someone worth considering.
