Ambry Thomas could help stabilize the Philadelphia Eagles’ secondary.

At six-foot-tall and 183 pounds, former Michigan Wolverines standout Ambry Thomas provides an interesting prospect for the Philadelphia Eagles. It’s been a while since we’ve seen him. He was among the star collegiate prospects that opted out of the 2020 NCAA season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

If memory serves, however, this is a stud that will, no doubt upgrade the secondary of any NFL team that’s willing to take a flier on him.

The eyeball test tells you that it’s easy to fall in love with his size. Who doesn’t love big cover guys right? ESPN ranked him as a top-20 player at his position and a four-star prospect. The question now is this.

Is there any possibility that talent that allowed him to tally 54 total tackles, four picks, and three pass breakups at the Division I level translates to the highest level of a game that we all love tremendously? We’ve had a 34-game sample size of Thomas at the collegiate level, even with him sitting out of the 2020 season, he should be one of the more coveted corners on Day 3 of the upcoming selection meeting.
