2246. . . . Round 7: Caleb Huntley, Ball State. . player

Huntley could be the Philadelphia Eagles’ hammer on offense.

Ball State running back Caleb Huntley is a complete, three-down tailback. With quick footwork, great hands in the passing game, and great vision as a runner, the Philadelphia Eagles would be wise to add a player with his skillset if he winds up being available this late in 2021’s NFL Draft.

The five-foot-ten, 230-pound wrecking ball has sneaky speed that helps him pull away from defenders as well as the vision and patience that coaches covet in their running backs. Huntley would be an immediate boost to the Eagles’ offensive running game.

While Miles Sanders is the obvious workhorse, Huntley would be the perfect change of pace as well as the perfect player to fill in if Miles Sanders isn’t able to go. The front office needs to help this offense by adding running backs with Huntley’s tools.

Getting the star here in Round 7 would be yet another steal for Philadelphia in the 2021’s selection meeting.
