3 Prospects Philadelphia Eagles could still land after trading back
Adding Bateman would boost the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense quickly.
If the front office were to trade back, they’d probably have to land somewhere between the middle to the backend of the first round in order to land someone that can still give them the pop that they’re looking for. It’s doable, and as mentioned earlier, that would also give them a handful of extra draft picks.
Here’s what’s even better. They would still have the opportunity, more than likely, to add the six-foot-two, 210-pound Rashod Bateman. A rare specimen, Bateman is a rare combination of size, freakish athletic ability, and raw natural speed. He was a dominant force in college, one that’s been blessed with quick feet and the ability to separate from defenders at any point of his route.
Whether it’s in zone or press-man coverage, the Minnesota prospect usually comes out on top. His football IQ always seems to put him in the right place at the right time. He has strong hands and never seems to shy away from contact when playing over the middle.
If the front office could do both, adding a talent like Rashod Bateman while also getting more draft picks would be a huge win.
