The 2021 NFL Draft is a great opportunity for the Philadelphia Eagles to improve.

University of Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Patrick Surtain II is highly considered as being the top corner in the entire upcoming draft. A complete prospect, Surtain would be the perfect fit for this Eagles defense.

At six-foot-two and 205-pounds, Surtain has the rare combination of size, athletic ability, and amazing ball skills that have coaches pounding the table for him. A true outside corner, this young man has the smooth hips to run with any wideout as well as the physical nature to be a force versus an opponent’s running game.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ front office did a great job in 2020 by trading for Darius Slay, but they can’t stop there. They’ll need to add talent to the backend and find the perfect player to combine with him.

Adding the Crimson Tide prospect would be a great step towards crafting a dominant secondary. Surtain has all the tools to be a true superstar in the NFL as he would be the perfect investment moving forward.
