817. . . . Round 3: Jabril Cox, LSU. . player

Jabril Cox could be a force for the Philadelphia Eagles defense quickly.

At six-foot-four and 235-pounds, Jabril Cox has a rare combination of size, freakish athletic ability, and raw speed that coaches in the NFL pray for. Cox would be an excellent addition to the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense right away.

He’s capable of playing in space and covering an opponent’s tight end or running back. He’s also capable of coming downhill and being a tackling machine. He’s a force on the defensive side of the ball, and with a little development, he could be a star for years to come.

The Philadelphia Eagles also land Landon Dickerson in Round 3.

Alabama Crimson Tide offensive lineman Landon Dickerson is a mountain of a man. At six-foot-six and 325 pounds, Dickerson has the size to be excited about. He’s capable of playing all five spots on the offensive line. He’s one of the most versatile prospects in this year’s selection meeting.

The Eagles need to protect the quarterback if they are going to compete in the NFC. Landing Dickerson here would be a great step in the right direction towards making that happen.
