The Philadelphia Eagles need to sure up that offensive line.

At six-foot-six and 330-pounds, Tennessee Volunteer product Trey Smith is a giant-sized athlete. With arguably the best feet in this NFL Draft, this road grader could be the perfect fit for the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line.

The Birds made news when it was reported that owner Jeffrey Lurie had instructed his team to build around Jalen Hurts. The front line should be where that building process should begin, and the former Tennessee Volunteer could be the guy to help them get that done.

He’s been blessed with a high football IQ, the underrated athletic ability, and the nasty playing style that Philadelphia Eagles fans love. He has violent hands at the point of contact as well as the thick base to dominate defensive lineman.

Philly has been blessed to field some talented lineman over the years, and that’s even held true when they’ve had to endure the constant injuries. There is some talent on the current roster, but the rebuilding Eagles need to have an eye on their future. As they start fresh with a new regime, it could be a good idea to build from the ball out, and Smith could be the perfect prospect to help them do so.
