The Philadelphia Eagles continue to stock the cupboard in Round 6.

As most of you have figured out, once the NFL Draft reaches Round 6, most teams are crossing their fingers and hoping for the best. In this scenario, Philly lands three guys that should add some depth at key positions.

Philly’s been awarded two compensatory picks in 2021’s selection meeting. They fall at 224 and 225, and that gives them three picks in the sixth round. Try defensive tackle Jordon Scott, cornerback Chase Lucas, and running back Jermar Jefferson on for size if you’re curious about wise ways to utilize them.

Let’s start with Oregon’s Jordon Scott. He’s one of those ‘boom or bust’ players, and adding him can go really well or really bad for this Eagles team. He didn’t light it up in 2020 for the Oregon Ducks, but he could become a nice rotational piece at Philly’s defensive tackle position.

Chase Lucas of Arizona State is six-foot and 180 pounds. He’s picked off six passes and has broken up another 22 in his 41-game career.

Jermar Jefferson, a running back from Oregon, is Scott’s former teammate and someone that could spell Miles Sanders if need be. For his career, he ran for 2.923 yards on 514 carries and racked up 299 yards on 43 receptions. He’s reached the end zone 29 total times in 27 career games.

Keep an eye on Hamilcar Rashed Jr. out of Oregon State one or more of these guys aren’t available.
