. . . Jason Huntley. 3. player. 54

You might be noticing a pattern here if you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Are you starting to feel like the Eagles don’t have much at running back? You’re not alone. In 2020, Jason Huntley was a part of two of the worst rosters in the entire NFL.

After being drafted in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by Detroit, the Lions decided that Huntley wasn’t good enough. Then again, we could argue that they were simply trying to sneak him through waivers.

Either way, the Philadelphia Eagles snatched Huntley one day later. He was signed on September 6th. The results won’t make any Birds fan beat themselves on the chest, but hey, at least he was out there some.

He exceeded Killins’ single carry by four more. The results were 19 yards and a first down. Well, that’s important, right?

Huntley’s lone catch didn’t gain a yard, but even though most are ready to give up on him, it would be interesting to see if he can contribute in a new, more imaginative offense in an expanded role. Keep an eye on him to see if he’s still around after the draft.
