. . Sam Williams, OLB, Ole Miss. . player. 841.

Williams might be the OLB prospect the Philadelphia Eagles are seeking.

During the 2019 and 2020 season, fans, students, and graduates of Ole Miss got to see a lot of production from the second level of the defense in the form of both inside/outside linebacker hybrid Lakia Henry and the talented Sam Williams.

The Rebels are going to have a hard time trying to replace both of them in the coming college football campaign. Henry is a five-foot-eleven, 235-pound missile that racked up 149 total tackles 3.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 21 career games. Williams appeared in 22 games and notched 77 stops, 17.5 sacks, an interception, and two forced fumbles.

Physically, Williams looks the part too. He stands at six-foot-four, and he tips the scales at 265 pounds. Williams might be a tad ahead of Henry in terms of development right now, but with the right coaching, both of these guys could be very good for a very long time.
