3. player. 852. . . . Rashod Bateman

Bateman might be the best wideout the Philadelphia Eagles fans don’t discuss.

Former Golden Gopher Rashod Bateman would be considered a reach at the 12th pick, but if the Eagles want to trade back even further in the first round, the Minnesota receiver should be considered as one of the targets. If he falls to the second round, however, the Birds need to pounce on him.

Bateman is one of the most pro-ready receivers in this draft, and his skill set should translate to any offense. At six-foot-two, the Big Ten product simply doesn’t have a hole in his game. He’s a silky smooth route runner with solid hands and above-average speed.

The Eagles could place him on the outside and even in the slot as a vertical option. In a talented wide receiver draft class, Bateman may not be talked about, but don’t let the lack of national attention fool you. He’s an incredibly talented prospect who has the potential to be the best receiver of this draft class.
