The Philadelphia Eagles defense could get a star in Jabril Cox.

LSU linebacker Jabril Cox is a rare prospect. At six-foot-four and 235 pounds, he has the size and athletic makeup that has NFL coaches salivating over his potential.

A missile-like tackler, Cox has the ability to lock in on ball carriers, running down even the fastest of runners. Imagining the Louisana prospect in the Philadelphia Eagles defense will have fans who know about his talent smiling.

Watching his film is eye-opening as he is capable of dropping in a zone and taking away the middle of a field. He has a quick twitch, reads and reacts well to offensive gameplans, and is capable of taking away a big play.

He covers like a safety yet lays the lumber anytime the ball is in his area. Needless to say, he has a nose for the ball and loves to attack.

A former star at North Dakota State University, some wondered how Cox would fair in the SEC. Not only did he hold his own, but he was also arguably one of the best players in the college football world.
