One more Philadelphia Eagles seven-round NFL mock draft
The Philadelphia Eagles conclude 2021’s draft by taking an interior OL prospect.
Like several of the other guys on this list, one of the draft’s more recognizable prospects, Deonte Brown of the Alabama Crimson Tide is getting low draft grades, and with 11 picks, that could mean he could be available when the Philadelphia Eagles are sitting around in Round 7 and they’re trying to figure out how to use their final selection.
Brown is a six-foot-four, 338-pound interior offensive lineman prospect. He’s more of a run blocker than a pass protector at this point, hence the guard designation, but with the right coach, which the Eagles no doubt have in Jeff Stoutland, he’s someone that could evolve into a solid reserve option early and maybe something more down the line.
Let’s just hope that Isaac Seumalo and Brandon Brooks can stay healthy. They’ve spent a lot of time nursing those nicks and bruises lately. Brown, on the other hand, has been relatively sturdy. That’s something every Eagles fan would like to hear about a potential prospect.
