Philadelphia Eagles best tweets as we celebrate Mother’s Day
They have a thankless job sometimes. As we do annually, most of us took some time to honor the women who made us who we are on the second Sunday of May. Mother’s Day is a time we dedicate to honoring the women that gave birth to us, loved us when we didn’t love ourselves, and in many cases, saved us from certain disaster when that seemed evident, and that’s true whether you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan or a fan of anyone else.
Truly, Mother’s Day is a holiday should be celebrated every day. One Sunday afternoon isn’t enough to do so, but as expected, men and women from all ethnic and regional backgrounds took to all of the social media avenues like Facebook and Twitter to say thank you to the women who showed them the true meaning of love.
Of course, the Philadelphia Eagles weren’t going to be left out. Check out some of the best drops that Inside The Iggles found on Twitter, (and some of the best that our staff has seen over the years), featuring the likes of Darius Slay, Miles Sanders, and a few faces that you may not have seen in a while.
Happy Mother’s Day to those beautiful Philadelphia Eagles fans everywhere!
Clearly, a sign of great parenting is being a Philadelphia Eagles fan and raising your children to carry the same values. Our staff at ITI, the ones whose mothers haven’t gone on to be with the Good Lord in Heaven took the most recent Sunday off to show the first woman we ever met how much we appreciate them. That isn’t all though.
We’d also like to send warm wishes to the mothers who filled the void of a biological mother that wasn’t present. We send our thoughts and well-wishes to those of you that may be grieving for a mother who has passed on. We send our heartfelt thank yous to newer mothers out there. Thank you for being you. Thank you for being amazing, and we’d like to wish you the best of luck as you undertake what might be the most important journey that you will ever face.
You guys rock! We appreciate you more than you know.
