As Philadelphia Eagles fans, you had to know this was coming.

It’s called the ‘Money Division’. It’s referred to as such for a good reason. The NFC East’s four teams (the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, and Washington Football Team) all have tremendous respect and support from their respective fan bases. All four teams are among the most storied franchises in all of the four major professional sports.

If you’ve ever asked yourselves how these guys keep finding their way into primetime contests, even if there’s seemingly nothing to play for, that’s the reason. Whenever two of these four teams get together, the NFL finds a way to get them in front of a national viewing audience. Just think about Philly’s Week 17 tilt versus Washington a season ago.

The Cowboys and Eagles, one of the NFL’s most bitter rivalries, is normally must-see television. They’ve combined for a slew of primetime matchups over their history versus one another, especially on Sunday Night Football. Another appearance on Sunday Night Football or Monday Night Football is probably a safety bet.
