Philadelphia Eagles 4 toughest quarterback matchups in 2021
The Philadelphia Eagles tend to make Dak look very good behind center.
No Philadelphia Eagles fan has to be or wants to be reminded of this, but the Dallas Cowboys have had Philly’s number recently. They’ve taken five of the last seven versus the Birds, including their most recent tilt, a game that Cowboys signal-caller Dak Prescott didn’t even play in.
When Prescott has been on the field, things normally haven’t gone well for the guys in midnight green. Dak is 5-3 in eight career games versus the Birds. He’s thrown eight touchdowns, He’s also thrown seven picks.
Those seven interceptions are encouraging, but familiarity is a nice feather in the cap of the Cowboys’ signal-caller. Here’s another. An Eagles team that has made some pretty pedestrian passers look like Joe Montana in recent years has to find answers for Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup.
To make matters worse, week 18’s game is in Arlington, and these days, Philly doesn’t look that good when they play there. Keep your fingers crossed if you’re a Philadelphia Eagles fan. This one could decide the NFC East (maybe). Don’t be surprised if the Birds will need to score a lot of points to pull it out.
