Philadelphia Eagles fans have to be sick of the New Orleans Saints at this point.

Here’s a quiz, and make sure you do the honorable thing. Don’t cheat if you don’t know the answer.

Throw out Jalen Hurts’ first start versus a squad that didn’t have Drew Brees available. Now, with that one out of your mind, when was the last time the Philadelphia Eagles beat the New Orleans Saints in a head-to-head matchup? The answer, if you’re stuck, is 2015.

You’re not a bad fan if you didn’t know the answer to that one by the way. You’re probably just reeling emotionally like the rest of us because you know that, even though Philly had to beat those guys at some point, it just feels like they never do.

These two don’t play each other every season, but by virtue of them both playing in the NFC, they’ve crossed paths enough. Unfortunately, it often feels like, if the game is of any significance,  a game Philly should lose, and often they do.

Who are we kidding? The Saints always beat the Philadelphia Eagles in big games. Chalk this one up as another Eagles loss. That’s your safest bet if you’re a gambling man or woman.

Final score: Eagles 24, Saints 37 (2021-2022 Eagles record: 5-6)
