28. Final. 27. 54. 14

The Philadelphia Eagles win by two scores in their 14th meeting versus the Raiders.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Raiders don’t meet much (this season is only the 14th time that it’s happened), but many times, when they do, something important is being decided.

Philly’s 2-0 versus the Los Angeles Raiders. They’ve met the Oakland Raiders in a Super Bowl and, most recently, on Christmas in 2017 for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs (that was an ugly tilt that Philly won). The Birds haven’t gotten a shot at the Las Vegas Raiders yet though.

This will be the first time that’s happened and looky here! Philly’s going to the Entertainment Capital of the World for the game.

Normally, the first inference would be to say something like this. Hopefully, these guys will be focused, and Coach Nick Sirianni will impose a curfew. The Eagles have some grownups on the roster though.

Guys don’t come more focused than Hurts, and versus a Jon Gruden-led team, one that tends to fight hard early and lose focus towards the middle of every regular season, Hurts should be able to get the Birds in the end zone at least three times versus a team that might be starting Damon Arnette and Trayvon Mullen at cornerback. Expect 300 yards passing in this one.
