The Jets are one of those teams we know the Philadelphia Eagles are better than.

It’s hard to go out on a limb and say that the Philadelphia Eagles are definitely better than many of the teams in the NFL, but here’s something you can definitely hang your hat on as a Birds enthusiast. At least when you woke up today you knew that your team wasn’t as bad as the New York Jets.

The Robert Saleh and Zach Wilson era is underway, but Gang Green’s new signal-caller has an issue. This team really didn’t fix much of what played a factor in Sam Darnold being unsuccessful.

The Jets might be the worst team in the AFC East when you factor in that they’ll be seeing the reigning division champions twice (the Buffalo Bills). They also have two dates scheduled versus an improved Miami Dolphins team and a New England Patriots team that will be better than it was a season ago.

Don’t be surprised if the Jets are making one of the first five picks in next year’s NFL Draft.

The three-headed cornerback monster of Blessuan Austin, Bryce Hall, and Javelin Guidry isn’t going to scare a ton of quarterbacks. Hurts will have his opportunities.

This one’s on the road, but it’s familiar territory, MetLife Stadium, where the Eagles play the Giants annually. It’s also late in the season (Week 13) which means Philadelphia will have had time to figure some things out and gel. Expect Hurts’ best passing effort in this one.

Here’s a bold prediction. Try a rushing touchdown, 400 yards passing and two passing touchdowns on for size, along with another rushing touchdown from Miles Sanders.
