. Dak Prescott, Dallas. . player. 123. .

Philadelphia Eagles fans wouldn’t be sour if Dak Prescott left Dallas.

While Eagles fans would love to see Jerry Jones get out of the division (and the NFL in general), I decided to keep this list as strictly players. With that in mind, out of everyone on the Cowboys’ roster, Dak Prescott has to be the choice here.

Maybe Ezekiel Elliott could have been the pick a few years ago, but after a down year in Big D, Zeke isn’t the feared running back he once was. Prescott, on the other hand, has become one of most exciting quarterbacks in the league and was looking to be on his way to another electric season before he was injured in just his fifth game of the season.

The Eagles didn’t end up facing Prescott at all in 2020 as a result of the injury but they know what kind of damage the former Mississippi State quarterback can do. The Cowboys’ defense being as bad as it is has forced Prescott to air the pigskin out on nearly a weekly basis.

In 2019, however, Prescott put up monster numbers, totaling 4,902 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions while rushing for 277 yards and three more scores. He didn’t torch the Eagles in 2019 but he sure did when the two met up in Week 14 of the 2018 season, throwing for a whopping 455 yards and three scores.

If Dak Prescott left the NFC East, Eagles fans would be pretty thrilled but unfortunately, that’s probably not happening anytime soon, as the Cowboys signal-caller inked a four-year extension, tying him to Dallas through 2024.
