Anthony Harris could be the swiss army knife for the Philadelphia Eagles.

It was outright shocking that defensive back Anthony Harris was just sitting there for the taking. It’s also surprising that Roseman got him for so little of a purse. Let’s make this very clear. The former Minnesota Viking has all the tools to be a superstar in Philadelphia’s defensive scheme.

Lucky for this team’s fans, he’s on the right side now, so Philly will reap all the rewards of his play. Versatility is the first thing that comes to mind when you speak about the Eagle’s newest weapon. Whether the coaches decide to line him up the deep middle, in coverage, or in the box, expect Harris to make a play (or five).

Over his short career, the six-foot-one, 200-pound product already has nine interceptions to his resume. Needless to say, he always seems to find himself near the football. A hard-nosed defensive back, not only does Harris affect the passing game, he loves to make contact with ball carriers.

His ability to always be in the right place at the right time should come in handy for Philly’s defense. That’s something they have lacked since Malcolm Jenkins’s departure.
