The Philadelphia Eagles could potentially find a starter with any of these three.

1. Steven Nelson

At five-foot-eleven and 184 pounds, Steven Nelson is only two inches taller and ten pounds heavier than Avonte Maddox. The latter has struggled to make a name for himself playing on the outside in coverage, but the former, and this is no way meant to be disrespectful, is just more talented. He’s the best cornerback that’s still available.

2. Richard Sherman

At 33 years of age, Richard Sherman can definitely, at this point of his career, be taken advantage of more often than quarterbacks and wide receivers were once able to, but let’s be frank. Even if he’s more flawed than he once was, he’s better than Jalen Mills ever was and still, even now, better than every cornerback on the Birds roster.

3. Brian Poole

Like Steven Nelson, Brian Poole is just someone that you’d expect to already be on someone’s roster if you weren’t paying attention. Some of you may be of the mindset that this list stacks him too high, but even if you were to rank him lower, you can see the argument for why he’s in the top five. Throw this one in the category of personal preference.
