Ranking Philadelphia Eagles 3 most important training camp battles
Training camp approaches for the Philadelphia Eagles, and there’s much to discuss.
Depending on how long you’ve been a Philadelphia Eagles fan, training camp can be a time to get excited or it could be one of the most stressful portions of your entire Summer. It may not seem like it now, but if you think back, you were feeling pretty good about this team in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
In 2018, we were all still on Super Bowl highs and phrases like ‘the new norm’ were rolling off of our tongues like grease runs off of a cheesesteak. In 2019 and 2020, we all were pumped because Philly’s roster looked so good on paper. Well, that didn’t work out.
This is the first time in a while that it’s really felt like the team is rebuilding, and the stress is palpable. As a fan, however, you have to remember two things. This is a fresh start. If a few things break in Philly’s favor, and if they can get on a roll, anything can happen.
They have to get a roster together first though. They’ve seemingly got the quarterback position figured out (and the starting lineup on both sides of the ball), but there are question marks about who to keep to ensure depth. Training camp will be much important as always in answering those questions. Here are the most important battles we’ll see. Philly has to get things right at these position groups. Let’s count them down.
