The Philadelphia Eagles become immediate contenders with Deshaun Watson.

While the Eagles are not considered a contender going into the 2021 season, they still possess a handful of elite veteran talent. Talent that has been minimized due to the question mark at quarterback and poor showing in 2020.

Fletcher Cox is still a Pro Bowl caliber player, Brandon Graham is coming off his first pro bowl selection, Jason Kelce is still an all-pro level player, Zach Ertz still has quality years left in the tank. We cannot forget Lane Johnson and the return of all-pro guard Brandon Brooks.

The Eagles also have a nucleus of young emerging stars to grow with Watson. 2020 and 2021 first-round selections Jalen Reagor and Devonta Smith would benefit tremendously from having Watson as their quarterback, they would also provide Watson with a duo of young receivers to grow with.

Deshaun Watson wouldn’t be tasked with throwing fifty times a game due to the lack of talent behind him. Miles Sanders is one of the league’s best young backs, and due to lack of usage in his first two seasons, will be around for years to come.

The Eagles have a great mix of veterans and young players. A group that is missing a capable quarterback to lead and carry them. Trading for Deshaun Watson would be a franchise-altering move, one that would expedite the Eagles’ transition period. The Philadelphia Eagles would become playoff and Super Bowl contenders immediately.

Does it need to be stated again? The Eagles should trade for Deshaun Watson. Are thre any further doubts?
