The Philadelphia Eagles will allow their offensive playmakers to shine.

1. Quez Watkins, wide receiver

Everyone remembers Quez Watkins‘ lone touchdown of his 2020 rookie season, a beautiful screen pass versus the Arizona Cardinals that he took to the house. Now, he’s back for more in year two.

It wasn’t even a month ago that some were asking if he was someone that could even make this team. Fast forward, and he’s someone that may have fans riot if he’s left off of the roster. He’s been lights out. Here’s the thing though. It’s much easier to look good in shorts where there’s no tackling and everything is familiar.

How will he look versus the Steelers? We won’t have to wait long to find out.

2. Jalen Reagor, wide receiver

You may have heard, but Jalen Reagor was the Philadelphia Eagles’ first-round draft choice in 2020, and there are a lot of people who are upset with that decision.

Here’s where Philly can be stubborn sometimes. Quez Watkins has clearly outplayed Reagorduring training camp, but Reagor still outranks him on the team’s depth chart. The TCU product will have an opportunity to distinguish himself versus the Steelers. If he doesn’t, you can best believe the criticism he’s been receiving won’t slow down one iota.

3. Kenneth Gainwell, running back

Ever since his selection, all you’ve heard is “Kenneth Gainwell being added in Round 5 was a steal for this Philadelphia Eagles team”. We haven’t talked about him much though. A nice showing by the Memphis product would go a long way in changing that.
