Philadelphia Eagles: 3 Veteran WRs this team must consider trading for
The Philadelphia Eagles could use a talent like the underrated Van Jefferson
This one isn’t quite like the first two trade scenarios in that Los Angeles Rams receiver Van Jefferson isn’t the seasoned veteran that Sutton and Allen are. Still, even with that being said, the former Ole Miss Rebel/Florida Gator has all the tools to be a difference-maker in the National Football League. He’d especially be a huge acquisition for the Philadelphia Eagles.
The second-year wideout has flown a bit under the radar ever since being drafted in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Honestly, that can happen when you’re a part of one of the league’s more loaded offenses.
The Rams employ Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp. Jefferson could be seen as expendable or as trade bait (Maybe). Adding Jefferson to the Eagles roster could be a great move for both teams. The Birds obviously need to add talent to their WR corps, and the Rams need to add some draft capital badly.
This wouldn’t solve the Philadelphia Eagles ‘ issues with having an inexperienced roster, but this addition would give them so much talent that it might not make much of a difference.
Trade: The Los Angeles Rams trade wide receiver Van Jefferson to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2022 second-round pick and a 2022 seventh-round pick.
