It is no secret that the Philadelphia Eagles struggled on both sides of the football in 2020. Their roster issues seemed like an insurmountable obstacle to their success. This team seemed cursed at times.

Still, as bad as Philly was in some areas, it was the linebacker corps that had most fans scratching their heads in disgust. Despite using two draft picks in 2020 on the position, Shaun Bradley and Davion Taylor, the Eagles just didn’t seem to figure out the right formula or find the right players to roll out weekly.

Here we are, and early on in the 2021 preseason, that issue appears to be a thing of the past. The addition of Eric Wilson was huge, and the continued emergence of an old friend in Alex Singleton has the linebacker position looking like a team strength.

While those two have been fierce for the most part, one guy has quietly had a great training camp. Second-year linebacker Shaun Bradley has been good if not great at times anytime he has hit the field.

The former Temple Owl is starting to show the instincts that made the Eagles front office fall in love with him in the first place. He’s looked the healthiest he’s been and the most comfortable he’s been since his arrival. Keep a close eye on him as he has the tools to be a star. This is someone that looks to make good on the confidence the team has been showing him.
