Potential Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver prospects

Believe it or not, the Philadelphia Eagles have some nice options if they want to add a few recently waived veterans at the wide receiver position. Here are three names that you may already know.

KhaDarel Hodge

An undrafted free agent in 2018, KhaDarel Hodge landed with the Los Angeles Rams shortly after the selection meeting wrapped. He was available for 14 games but didn’t start any (there’s no shame in that as the Rams were loaded at the position.

He caught two receptions for 17 yards as a rookie. He’s notched17 receptions for 273 yards as a member of both the Rams and Cleveland Browns. He appeared in 25 games for the latter.

Antonio Gandy-Golden

This doesn’t really satisfy Philly’s need for a veteran. Antonio Gandy-Golden was a fourth-round draft choice of the Washington Football Team in 2020, but they’ve elected to give up on him after six in-game appearances. He only has one catch on his NFL resume, but he has some ability.

Also, the number 11 jersey is available if he’d like to wear it.

David Sills

An undrafted free agent that landed with the Buffalo Bills in 2019, David Sills has yet to register an NFL catch, but at six-foot-three and 211 pounds, he could be a nightmare matchup for some teams and give Jalen Hurts another weapon on third down and in the red zone.
