So, what’s the expected outcome of this Philadelphia Eagles home opener?

Inside The Iggles: What’s your prediction for how this one turns out? Any thoughts on a final score?

Panacy: The Eagles demolished a bad Falcons team on the road in Week 1, while the 49ers allowed a bad Lions team to crawl back in the game late in the fourth quarter.

I’d expect Shanahan to want to be more methodical with his offensive play-calling this week to take pressure off DeMeco Ryans’ defense, likely focusing on extending drives and not trying to score too quickly, if you will. That might be the one way to help counter Jalen Hurts, as the Niners have historically had all kinds of trouble with mobile quarterbacks, especially those who excel in quick short-area passes.

Still giving San Francisco the edge here, but it won’t be some double-digit blowout or anything like that. If anything, the Eagles make this far more interesting than the 49ers would like. I’m going 49ers 24, Eagles 21.
