It’s a fact. The Philadelphia Eagles star will be a better long-term running back.

Unless something changes and in a hurry, the Giants will continue to run their best offensive asset into the ground on some bad-looking football teams. Meanwhile, Saquon Barkley’s former teammate, Miles Sanders, has some help in this Eagles offense.

The Birds field Dallas Goedert, Jalen Reagor, Quez Watkins, Zach Ertz, DeVonta Smith, and guys like Greg Ward, but get this. Philly’s also given Sanders some backfield help in the form of Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott.

All that’s been said to say this. Barkley has to do a ton if the Giants intend to win. They simply cannot win with him carrying the ball an average of about 12 times. Sanders, on the other hand, plays on a unit where he need only do his job.

The Philadelphia Eagles are built, on offense, to where different guys can be the difference-maker in different weeks. That’s just what the doctor ordered for someone who plays the NFL’s most punishing position.

With that being said, at the end of the day, a better culture, a better leadership structure, and having better and more talented teammates means Sanders, when the dust clears and the smoke settles will have a much longer career than Saquon Barkley.
