16 Philadelphia Eagles named as Pro Football Hall of Fame nominees
There’s a chance these former Philadelphia Eagles might have their busts carved.
We promised you 15 former Eagles, and we kept our word. Here are a few names that might conjure up some awesome memories.
8. Eric Allen (1988-1994)
Eric Allen should be in the Hall of Fame already Period. Six Pro Bowl nods (1989, 1991–1995), a First-team All-Pro nomination (1989), and two Second-team All-Pro nods (1991, 1993) should tell you that.
9. Seth Joyner (1986-1993)
An Eagle through and through, before he was the host of Eagles Pregame and Postgame Live on NBC Sports Philadelphia, Seth Joyner racked up 875 total tackles, 37 sacks, 17 interceptions, and 21 forced fumbles in an Eagles jersey.
10. Troy Vincent (1996-2003)
The Philadelphia Eagles may have screwed up the cornerback position a time or two in free agency, but they hit the bullseye with this young man.
11. Gary Anderson (1995-1995)
Yes, Gary Anderson played for the Eagles too! He made just under 80 percent of his attempts in 32 career games here.
12. Sean Landeta (1983-1984, 1999-2002, 2005)
Sean Landeta averaged 42.8 yards per punt and tallied 16,092 yards over the course of three stints in Philadelphia.
13. Brian Mitchell (2000-2002)
He came in and played quarterback for Washington after Philly knocked out all of their quarterbacks in the Body Bag Game, but eventually, he came over to the right side.
14. Allen Rossum (1998-1999)
50 punt returns for 437 yards… 98 kick returns for 2,427 yards and a touchdown in two seasons with the Eagles… Allen Rossum was a return ace.
15. Takeo Spikes (2007)
He only spent one year here, but damn he was a ton of fun. His lone season here was cut short due to injury, but he racked up 85 total tackles and a sack in 14 games.
16. Jeff Feagles (1990-1993)
