How do the Philadelphia Eagles attack the Panthers’ defense?

It’s only Week 5 and the Eagles are already down four of their five offensive linemen. It’s looking like Jason Kelce might be the only mainstay on the field this Sunday.

Last week, the reserves held up against Kansas City, but Carolina will undoubtedly present a bigger challenge. While most of the backup offensive linemen have starting experience, it takes time to develop communication as a group.

Handling the different pressure looks from Snow could be a tall task. It might be smart for the Birds to call some six and seven-man protections with Dallas Goedert, Miles Sanders, or Kenny Gainwell helping out.

Nick Sirianni will need to continue to go to the quick passing game as he did last week. Anything that will get the ball of Jalen Hurts’ hands quickly and limit the effect of the defensive line will help. The zone read game might be difficult to establish with how athletic the Panthers are on the edge but the Eagles can still get Hurts involved with his legs on QB powers, QB draws, speed options, RPOs, and more.

They could also steal something they saw from the Panthers’ offense during their battle with one of Philadelphia’s biggest rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, a week ago.
