The Philadelphia Eagles also had some winners on offense

Winner: Jalen Hurts, quarterback

With what was looking like a deja vu moment for Philly fans, quarterback Jalen Hurts hung in the game and continued to battle through adversity. We’re not going to beat around the bush on this.

Hurts’ performance, especially in the first half, was terrible. He looked lost. So did that offense, but he never gave up and was able to make the big plays when it counted. That’s a big statement.

Winner: DeVonta Smith, wide receiver

It now has to be universally agreed with between Philly fans. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith is the truth. After his fumble, Smith shook it off and came up big for this team. He finished the day with seven catches for 77 yards and is on pace to be the first Eagles’ receiver to gain 1000 yards since 2015.

Winner: Quez Watkins, wide receiver

It’s hard to understand why Quez Watkins isn’t being utilized more often than he does because he’s always making big plays for this team, and this game was no different. When the Eagles needed him most, Watkins came up big with a 53-yard catch to put this team in scoring position.

Winner: Andre Dillard, left tackle

Philly fans can not deny, tackle Andre Dillard played another solid game against a tough Carolina defensive line. He held up the left side of the line for his quarterback and came in big during crucial passing plays.

Well, that about wraps it up for winners. Let’s check in on the losers.
