The Philadelphia Eagles, even in success, have some glaring issues.

Loser: Nick Sirianni, head coach

Head coach Nick Sirianni is continuing the trend of altering his game plans from week to week, but continuous penalties have become detrimental to this team. Another touchdown was negated by a penalty. The running game was, again, ignored for most of the game.

However, we can give Sirianni credit for how he adjusted in the second half, but there seems to be a winning recipe for this young offense, and Sirianni, for some reason, refuses to stick with it. Philly’s defense won them this game.

Loser: Alex Singleton, linebacker

Alex Singleton earned his spot on the duds list in Week 5. He ran laterally much too often and committed two terrible penalties that put his team in bad positions. A player of Singletons caliber should know better, but he seemed to be lost in Week 5.

Loser: Miles Sanders, running back

After weeks of fans calling for Miles Sanders to get his share of carries, fans quickly called for him to get off the field after he stepped out of bounds not once but twice when the Eagles were trying to put the Panthers away.

Sanders had an issue finding the holes earlier in the game and didn’t bounce to the outside when he should have. Frustration may be setting in with Sanders, but he must ensure he keeps his head during the game.

Loser: Steve Nelson, cornerback

Another week, another blown coverage by cornerback Steven Nelson. He almost didn’t make this list because of his interception that helped seal the game, but his inability to be in any form of good coverage has cost this defense time and time again. Also, being honest, his interception resulted from the best play-read we have seen from Nelson all season.

light. Trending. Eagles that must be moved before NFL trade deadline

A win is a win, and the Eagles should celebrate this, but this team playing complementary football is concerning. Both sides of the ball need to show up, have the best game plans possible, and execute, not just one. Enjoy the victory Monday, Philly fans.
