58. . 2-5. . Washington Commanders. 25. team

One of the Philadelphia Eagles’ fiercest rivals lands ahead of them after Week 7.

Washington and Philadelphia both lost in Week 7 while the Cowboys stood idle. The Giants won but land behind both the Eagles and Washington Football Team after the NFL’s seventh week. Go figure.

The fact is that, while the Giants have the most impressive win of the three, a 27-21 victory over the New Orleans Saints, every team in this division other than Dallas is struggling. Washington, however, might be in the best position to turn things around more quickly.

The Eagles and Giants don’t have the best general managers in the world. Washington has issues on offense, but they have the best coach. They also swept the Eagles a season ago and, though some of you may have forgotten this, they’re the defending NFC East Champions. Don’t close the book on them yet.

45. . 3-4. . Denver Broncos. 24. team

The Broncos are difficult to explain to people. Teddy Bridgewater is a more than capable quarterback. They have an impressive roster, but they’ve only beaten inferior teams (the Jags, Giants, and Jets).

They looked really bad versus a bunch of the Cleveland Browns’ backups in Week 7. We thought this might be the year Denver takes the next step, but so far, that hasn’t been the case.
