Philadelphia Eagles stay or go: Which players make the cut in 2022?
It’s been a rough season for the Philadelphia Eagles, but we can trust these guys.
Stay: Dallas Goedert, tight end
This is what some of you wanted, Dallas Goedert as TE1. Let the games begin!
Stay: Tyree Jackson, tight end
If the Philadelphia Eagles can get Tyree Jackson healthy, coached up, and on the field, this guy is going to be a nightmare for opposing defenses to cover.
Stay: Lane Johnson, right guard
Quietly, Lane Johnson has crafted a resume that’s Hall-of-Fame worthy. People just forgot to notice because he’s played with so many other great Eagles linemen (and because he plays on the right side of the line, not the left).
Stay: Jordan Mailata, offensive tackle
Jordan Mailata has come a long way and recently inked an extension after earning a starting job. He should be around for a while.
Stay: Jack Driscoll, tackle/guard
All we’ve ever heard about Jack Driscoll has been rave reviews. If his body doesn’t let him down, he can continue to be a part of this offensive line for years to come.
Stay: Isaac Seumalo, guard
Playing between Jason Peters and Jason Kelce for most of his career (and on the other side of Brandon Brooks and Lane Johnson) has cast a huge shadow over Issac Seumalo. Still, if you want to quantify his value, look no further than the dropoff that occurs at left guard in his absence.
Stay: Jason Kelce, center
The legend should be an Eagle until he’s ready to hang the cleats up.
Stay: Nate Herbig, guard
Nate’s solid. Very solid. Put him on next year’s 53-man roster.
Stay: Landon Dickerson, offensive lineman
Things haven’t been perfect for Landon Dickerson, but he’ll improve with experience. Save a spot, a rather large one, for him.
