Several Philadelphia Eagles deserve some kudos after this one.

Jalen Hurts, quarterback

Jalen Hurts won’t make any excuses. We’ve come to expect that. Sure, he’d like to have those throws to Dallas Goedert and DeVonta Smith back, but he stepped up and made plays when his team needed him to. You have to tip your cap to him after this one.

The Eagles running backs

Okay, technically, this is a nod for three guys, but we can live with that if you can. The Eagles running backs continued to run the ball well in Miles Sanders’ absence, combining for 114 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 29 totes.

Andre Chachere, cornerback

Following an Avonte Maddox injury, Andre Chachere was forced into action which is never easy when one isn’t expecting to play much. He didn’t make many splash plays, but he didn’t do anything to short-circuit anything that his teammates wanted to do either. Overall, he was solid, and that’s all you can ask for from a reserve.

Honorable mention: Davion Taylor

Davion Taylor missed a very important tackle attempt late, but he played his butt off too. Philadelphia doesn’t have a shot to win late if he hadn’t racked up the eight tackles that he did. He also led the team in solo stops with six.
