Philadelphia Eagles Week 10 studs

1. Boston Scott, running back

It took them ten weeks, but the Philadelphia Eagles completed a screen pass to Boston Scott. That one went for 16 yards and was part of an opening drive in which he touched the ball four times.

He finished with 11 carries for 81 yards. That’s a 7.4 yards-per-carry average for you math geniuses out there.

2. Devonta Smith, wide receiver

The young man definitely knows how to party. DeVonta Smith hauled in four receptions for 66 yards, and he reached the end zone twice. It may have been his birthday, but it felt like we were all invited to the party.

3. Jordan Howard, running back

Add another great game to Jordan Howard‘s triumphant return. Those of us who have doubted him, myself included, will gladly write a retraction. Maybe he just needed to rest, refocus, and recharge, but the former Pro Bowler is back! Add another 83 yards on 12 carries to his 2021 regular-season resume.

4. K’Von Wallace, safety/special teams

We always get on these young guys for an inability to make plays. We have to show them love when they come up big. How about that field goal block by K’Von Wallace?

The Broncos manufactured a nice drive to begin the third quarter. That’s how it ended. That kept the Eagles’ lead to ten points at the time and contributed to a huge second half by Philadelphia in all three phases of the game.

5. Darius Slay, cornerback

Come on. There was no way we were leaving Darius Slay off of the list. Just watch this one and appreciate the beauty.

No words are necessary! On to the duds.
