Philadelphia Eagles Week 11 heroes

1. T.J. Edwards, linebacker

If you’re one of those people who can’t understand why T.J. Edwards gets ignored by fans and, at times, his own coaching staff, we absolutely agree with you. His blocked punt versus the Carolina Panthers helped shift momentum. His interception versus New Orleans did the same thing.

He continues to prove that he belongs.

2. Dallas Goedert, tight end

Dallas Goedert was huge. On the Eagles’ first scoring drive, he had two third-down catches for 16 and 14 yards (one beating former Eagle Malcolm Jenkins). In all, he hauled in five catches for 62 yards, leading the team in receptions in the process.

3. Jordan Mailata, left tackle

His teammate, Lane Johnson, called him a ‘big dinosaur’ (and yes that’s a compliment). We’ve seen Jordan Mailata grow, and now we’re watching him block two guys on the same play and challenge defensive linemen to fistfights. Jordan Mailata is our guy!.

4. Darius Slay, cornerback

Come on! Was there any doubt that Darius Slay would be on the list? That pick-six set The Linc on fire. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that he’s okay.

5. Jalen Hurts, quarterback

Come on! Let’s be serious. Of course Jalen Hurts is on the list. QB1 added three rushing touchdowns in Week 11 to his tally, giving him seven for the season. That’s tops in the NFL and, believe it or not, gives him more rushing TDs than Ezekiel Elliott. Let that sink in for a second.

That’s also the most by any Eagles starting quarterback through 11 games.
