Eagles versus Giants Week 12 prop bets

Bet No. 1

  • Boston Scott Anytime TD scorer (+300)

According to the oddsmakers at WynnBET, the odds of Boston Scott reaching the end zone at some point during this one sit at +300. Who knows what it is, but the smallest Eagle on the active roster (from a height standpoint anyway) seems to stand head and shoulders over everyone else whenever the New York Giants are on the other sideline.

Maybe he’s heard about the rivalry. Maybe he has some deep-rooted disdain for the G-Men, but if Boston Scott would somehow be allowed to play every game of his NFL career at MetLife Stadium, we might be talking about a future Hall of Famer. If you’ll remember, he torched the New York Jets there during Philadelphia’s final preseason game too.

Jordan Howard will sit this one out as he recovers from a knee injury. That means that Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, and Kenneth Gainwell will handle running back duties for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Gainwell was a healthy scratch last week in Sanders’ return to the lineup. That tells us he’s the fourth man on the depth chart at tailback and that Sanders and Scott will get the bulk of the totes. Sports is a funny animal sometimes huh? It will make the city of Philadelphia cheer for a man named ‘Boston’ in the City of New York.

Okay, that was a bad joke, but you get the idea. If you’re looking for a safe play, this is it. Expect Boston Scott to have a huge day in the Big Apple.
