Philadelphia Eagles Week 12 duds

Jalen Hurts, quarterback

Jalen Hurts gave it his all. He gave his team a chance to win late, but you can’t turn the ball over and expect to win. That turnover at the end of the first half was a killer. In total, he had three picks on the day and had a quarterback rating of 17.5.

Jalen Reagor, wide receiver

Before his phenomenal catch towards the end of the first half, we were beginning to ask if Jalen Reagor‘s snafus, bad route-running, and drops are starting to affect his confidence. Every week, he does one or two things wrong on special teams, and he was abhorrent during the final drive, including two heart-breaking drops. One should have been a game-winner.

Steven Nelson, cornerback

It doesn’t look like anyone fears Steven Nelson. Every quarterback is seeking him out and targeting him now. His pass interference play led to the first touchdown by the Giants, gave New York confidence, and put the Birds in an ugly hole in the second half.

Nick Sirianni, head coach

He pulled it together late, but bad playcalling put Nick Sirianni’s team at a disadvantage unnecessarily. Had this game been versus a better team, Philly would have lost by three touchdowns.

Why did the Eagles ignore the run so much? Why won’t they run more DESIGNED plays to Dallas Goedert?

Trending. Breakout Eagles this team should build around. light

Nate Herbig, offensive lineman

Nate Herbig had two huge penalties, and they were killers. One came on a long gain. Another, as mentioned earlier, cost the Eagles a touchdown.

All of this results in bad news. This was an awful loss by the Eagles in a game that they had no business losing.
